Just before Norm Hacking's Living Room. Everyone is welcome, no cost - Bring your guitar, and do some picking with Brian Gladstone. Or just bring yourself and do some listening. He will be breaking down the fine art of finger picking into bite size pieces - and demonstrate the basis of folk - ragtime - blues - jug band style, and of course his own original style of picking -- including techniques from many of the masters such as Mississippi John Hurt, Reverend Gary Davis, Blind Blake, Doc Watson, and more. Brian's guitar picking has been played on radio all over the world, has won awards for his picking .. he has spent thirty years practicing daily! Recently he commented that he doesn't see a lot of young guitar players picking -- and wants to pass on this great tradition. All are welcome.
