Save the Wolverine (lyrics are below) .. but you may want to read the story first..

Wolverine random notes… It paints a morbid picture with the crude black brush strokes of an intuitive verbal visual artist, but in the end leaves a ray of hope… The message is not futility – which would invoke shrugged shoulders and oh well its too late now. The message Im trying to convey is actually positive, the significant meaning is urgency and momentum.. act now, and we can make a difference… its about the wolverine, but that’s only the start. It’s the planet we have to save. The power of Mother Nature is too great to mess with .. can destroy all of man and his creations with a simple gust of wind from her nostril and raging sea … all in the blink of a eye… we are so bold in our arrogance and defiance to the natural laws, but there is no question balance and equilibrium will always prevail. Our salvation is based on our ability to mold the world for our convenience, and our survival is predicated on our inability to change. However it is those same characteristics which will become our demise as well. We are our own self fulfilling and self destroying prophesy. (And they call me a paradox). The magnitude of the work to be done is overwhelming, but if everyone just does a little bit, then together we can make a big difference. Visit the Wolverine Foundation. These are my words for you. Save the Wolverine

by Brian Gladstone

Theres a black whole in the forest

Where the wolverine did play

There’s no sunshine in the forest

I saw him yesterday

Mankind becomes the predator

Wolverines the prey

There’s a black hole in the forest

I cannot find my way

I cant see where Im going

But I know where Ive been

Let nature rule the forest

Cry for the Wolverine

There’s concrete in the forest

The trees grow through the streets

How can I find my way?

With no dirt beneath my feet

Sometimes I feel ashamed

I don’t know what to say

Theres a black plague in the forest

And it erodes life away

Theres a madman in the forest

He moves like gangrene

Its time to heal the forest

Weep for the Wolverine

It’s a dark day in the forest

Carnivores on the prowl

Death runs through the forest

The wind begins to howl

The hunter is the hunted

The balance is upset

There a time warp in the forest

With a little time left yet

There’s a backdoor to this tomb

Not yet still born in our womb

Use our power change the scene

We can save the Wolverine.
